Well, nobody seems to be posting here and have found new homes, which is ok by me.  I just don't see the use of maintaining the site and patching it constantly for security if it isn't being used.

Hello everyone!  I am a little sad to see that Allen is considering removing the board.  I have been out of town since the middle of January.  No real computer access.  I am back home, finally!  So lets see what we can do to get things moving again.

Adam moved up to Georgia the end of February.  Our basement is full of boxes again! Slowly be surely we are figuring out what to do with everything.  Not easy to merge two households.

I have been seeing an endocrinologist.  She started me on synthroid.  A low dose to see how my body reacts.  I go back next week for more blood work.  At that time we will decide if it is working and if I will remain on the synthroid. 

I have lost about 10 pounds in the last three months.  Hoping to keep that up.

How is everyone else doing?

Mary it is so nice to see your smilin' face!  I have been so busy since the first of the year that I have not had a chance to check in here.

How are things going since your last post?  Anything you need help with?  I hope you are still going strong!

The backup copy I had of everything was corrupt.  I found out from a friend that the way they were providing them was prone to doing that.  There was a 2nd copy, kept on their servers - but of course those are long gone, disappeared when they walked away from their customers.

Allen...we were unable to recover any of the information from the old forum, right?  The recipes, the journals, all that information is gone for good?  I know you said the backup was corrupt.

I am watching it.

Doing ok. The scale isn't moving but I am sure it will, as long as I stay honest and count all my carbs!!!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you had a great holiday season. I did... Maybe to great. Of course with the new year comes the new commitment to get the extra pounds off and start the year off on a new foot. I am no diffrent than anyone else. I have 50 pounds to loose to reach my goal and I have goofed off long enough. For those of you who don't know me, I had Gastric Bypass Surgery in 2006. I did well, but like some I took it for granted and never reached my goal weight. Sadly, I was 10 pounds short of it.... Long story short I talked to my doctor and he told me to get back to my low carb diet and stick to it!!!

So that's where I am. 11 days ago I started the Induction Faze and let me tell you coming off of sugar and carbs was horrible!!! I am feeling much better now and I am dealing with liefs little hiccups instead of eating through them.

I didn't see any thread started for Induction Support so I thought I would start one. Hope you will come and visit me here once in a while and maybe we can work together.
